Design classic: P.S Ghost chair

This is dining heaven with a beautiful ghost :)

I don’t like ghosts but a Ghost chair can come and haunt my apartment anytime – this lifetime or next :)

Baby ghost chair….sooo Cute :)

When I was in France, more precisely in Nice a few weeks ago, I often saw my absolute favorite chair, the Ghost chair. The French seem to love this little unique creation as much as me :) I even saw Ghost copies in braided basket materials and stylish hot pink Ghost chairs.

When it comes to modern design classics, Philippe Starck’s Ghost Chair is an unchallenged number one on my list. Ever since the first time I laid eyes on it, the Ghost chair has haunted me :) I think it’s because the perfect little plastic throne flirts perfectly with the 1700’s, an era I have a great passion for.

I love the marriage between new & old and with the Ghost chair, the past is merged with present day to create perfection in plastic. Phillipe Starck is a bit of an industrial designer icon of 1900’s, with tight simple lines as his hallmark.

Do you like the Ghost chair? And do you have any personal favorite design classics?
