Swedish Country Decor
This is Swedish country decor at its very finest. White, clean base colours and lovely baby blue details which add a real romantic ’country’ flavour. I think this type of decor is so cosy, and in the right place it is unbeatable. By right place I mean… out in the country… not rustic decor in the big city :)
I grew up in a house in the country but we had no animals (except for cats) so it wasn’t a farm as such. What I’m most happy about and grateful for is that I had a childhood where I spent a lot of time in the forest, breathing fresh air. City life is great, but nothing brings more calm to the soul than spending time in a green yard, forgetting tomorrow and just being. My childhood home is no more, but I will always feel invigorated and feel inspiration from the great outdoors. Thoughts always wander back to the calm, harmony, and the first morning tea sitting under the old blooming apple tree.
