Many people ask where I draw my inspiration from for all of the posts on inredningvis. I can say that it is the surroundings that give my soul power and inner peace. Lately, I have, as you know spent a lot of my time at the archipaelago here, surrounded by many beautiful houses. This has given me the feeling of sea and cool breezes… in other words, the colour BLUE.
This will show up a lot during my Summer posts in this blog. In this one you see lovely navy inspiration for a Summer outdoors on the balcony and in the garden. Blue really is the colour of Summer, cooling the mind and giving inner peace. The most beautiful combination is classic archipelago interior of white with deep blue details.
During the Swedish midsummer, I listened to one of my favourite Swedish songs, with Ted Gärestad. What could be more fitting than his line of text: Heaven is an innocent shade of blue :)
