Inredningsvis is divorcing the word marriage after last week’s wedding feature :) and starting the new week on a wonderful balcony. The first picture is one of my favourite balconies and I could easily wake up to that view every day. I actually don’t have a balcony as I live in an old ‘landshövdingehus’ (roughly translates to “Governor’s house”). However, there is a courtyard which is just adorable :) My previous apartment had a huge balcony, but I was almost never out on it.

It’s strange with us humans – often we long for that which we don’t have, and then when we get it, we don’t want it anymore. As I quoted last week, the grass is seldom greener on the other side, even if we think it might be. We have to quite simply begin by being thankful for what we already have, instead of always longing for that which we don’t have.

What are you most thankful for on this Monday morning???

Within interior design, I love the combination of old and new, a marriage of history and modernism, romanticism meeting minimalism. In addition, I have a burning passion for crispy silks, dark chocolate and long baths with a fragrance of lavender.
