Orange
Orange is absolutely the hottest colour in 2012 – both within fashion and interior design. When I was little, orange was my favourite colour, or rather, my obsession. I wanted EVERYTHING in orange, even the toothpaste (poor Mum!) Later in life I despised orange. Thesedays I’m sitting on the fence and am beginning to understand that moderation is the key. Smaller doses of orange work really well for example as an accent colour for cushions, lamps etc.
Orange colour and feng shui
According to Feng Shui, orange represents good health and optimism. It also controls vitality. It is thought to relieve depression and promote courage, creativity and passion for life…in short, a colour with spice :)
