You see a lot of stone and marble in Spain, which gives a luxurios feeling as well as keeps you cool during hot Summer days.
My sweet little bathroom on the 2nd floor with IKEA’s Lillången basin – it felt like home :)
Now I’m back from my trip to Malaga, which was full of contrasts to say the least. It was of course Winter in Spain and the weather there can be changeable in January – some days were grey and cool whilst others were warm and sunny. I’ll start by telling you all about our holiday accommodation in Malaga…
We stayed in a cosy, recently built two room apartment at Calle Jinetes 17 in the middle of Malaga centro. The apartment consisted of an entry floor with kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom, and a 2nd floor with a lovely country style bedsit and bathroom. The lower floor bathroom was beautiful and typically Spanish – tiled in marble. The kitchen was large, modern, and well-equipped. A washing machine was also available.
I slept in the beautiful little bedsit on the 2nd floor. It struck me that both the bed and bathroom furniture was from IKEA. I was particularly happy to see Lillången handbasin and cabinet in my sweet little country-style bathroom. IKEA has entered homes all over the world – even here in the Meditterannean…cool :) There was also a roof-top terrace on the 2nd floor with two loungers for lazy Summer days.
Our accommodation is recommended to everyone that would like their own central apartment close to the majority of tourist attractions in Malaga.
