Inspiration: Advent

Advent is here soon andit’s time for the Christmas decorations to go up. It’s a matter of taste if you like advent stars or candle sticks, but here is some lovely Christmassy advent inspiration for all tastes from

Classic advent candlestick holder vs. modern….which do you prefer?

I love white at Christmas and this gorgeous snow white star from is definitely my taste :)

The ultra-modern Windsor…. for the minimalist home.

A classic beautiful candle stick holder works just as well at Xmas as it does for a regular Sunday dinner :)

This hot modern candlestick Frid by Markslöjd is new this year at

As you can see there are a whole host of lovely Christmas lights to choose from. All the lights you see above are taken from who have a wide range of both Christmas and other lighting. They also have quick delivery within two days and FREE shipping … so everyone can afford to have a good Christmas with guaranteed hard packages. Order from now and you are guaranteed a new star to twinkle in your window at Advent :)

I remember when I was little, the great anticipation for Christmas that started every 1st Sunday of Advent. It was so nice to ignite the 1st candle together with my Mother who gave us freshly baked Advent goodies. Nowadays, I don’t have the same desperate longing for Christmas as before, but the same cosy feeling of Advent lighting up the windows remains. I’m not dreaming of a white Christmas ….. I’m dreaming of a bright Christmas :)

What do you like best in Advent windows … Stars or candles??

Have a nice light week!

I won’t have a white Christmas unless I create it myself ahahah. In the past years we’ve been having a hotter Christmas than we’ve been having Easter.
I also find lighting veru«y important in all celebrations. Specially on Christmas when besides the lighting it provides a warmth that is welcome. Have you noticed how people speak more calmly and soothingly during a candle lighted Dinner? I also love to see the gutted candle – signs of a lovely and long night spent together.
Happy Week to you Too. May the Light be with you ;)

I love white Christmas decor, too! You like Indian design in one post. I’d say Swedish design has always been my source of inspiration. I love that star decor in white!
