”Strongly Recommend” is what I should have written in the title, because there isn’t a more perfect location for a hotel than Ystad Saltsjöbad. This was my absolute favourite accommodation from our journey in beautiful Skåne.

Beach hotel: Ystad Saltsjöbad
Ystad Saltsjöbad is located right by the sea, beside Ystad’s long sandy beach. The feeling you get upon arrival is 100% relaxation. Stress disappears in harmony with the calming white noise from the waves.
Newport
Ystad Saltsjöbad has had a new owner since 2007, and has been going through a change of style and concept. The decor at the hotel is very Newport, to capture that genuine maritme feeling, reflecting the local environment. This style really appeals to me, as it gives me inspiration for my future Summer house :)
Restaurant Nemo
A new restaurant, ”Nero”, is a part of the hotel. People gather not only to enjoy the delicious food, but also to listen to live music on balmy Summer evenings.
The cuisine served by the restaurant was fantastic, and the wait staff were very welcoming, despire the pressure of having so many guests. What can be better than a great meal and lvie music by the ocean?
Conference facilities
Ystad Saltsjöbad also offers conference facilities in a fantastic environment, a relaxing spa, and also arranges weddings all year round. Whatever you choose to do at the hotel, the staff want you to have a relaxing stay and to return home with positive experiences and refreshed energy.
I could easily live at this wonderful hotel all Summer long. Ystad Saltsjöbad is my favourite hotel in Sweden right now, and we wil definitely be back.
Inredningsvis gives Ystad Saltsjöbad 100 out of 10. A more perfect hotel cannot be found! :)
