Sliding doors for wardrobes have come a long way in terms of function and design in recent years – a far cry from the ones that always got stuck in my first apartment. I’ve now changed my mind and am in the midst of redecorating my bedroom, wardrobes with sliding doors are perfect as they don’t take up much space. I also love the feeling when the door glides open like a feather in total silence. An excellent alternative to the walk-in-closet.
I’ve seen many different designs of these doors and it’s hard to pick out a favourite. If you are considering buying some for your apartment, student room, or house, take a photo of your room with you in a mobile phone, tablet, or even old-school paper photo. Imagine how the door design will fit into your picture when you’re standing there in the shop. The last thing you want to do is get some large doors home, only to discover that you wanted a different design or colour!
