Recently, Jon and I have visited the islands in Gothenburg’s beautiful archipaelago a lot. Now I’m dreaming of a Summer house on my favourite island, Styrsö, far from the endless noise and fumes of the city. Nothing beats the feeling of the island lifestyle in the Summer time – the stillness and the ocean breeze fanning away the heat from body and mind.
This post is inspired by all of the century-old houses that Styrsö is blessed with. I’ve always said that I prefer apartments in town, but in the Summer I long for a garden, ocean and house. If I owned a Summer house in the islands it would be exactly like this :)
