Everything and everyone gets old eventually, except for classic designer furniture like the Model 3107 chair, Ant chair, Eames & Co. Something that is very modern right now is to use these hot designer chairs around the dining table. Recently, a variety of design chairs have been featured both in newspapers and magazines. Whether designer furniture are copies are not doesn’t seem to make much difference for the consumer, as long as everything looks the part.

Combining designer chairs is hot at the dining table, and gives a lovely relaxed feeling.

Designer copies are just as popular as the originals.

Very hot! And antique table matches perfectly with modern designer chairs.

The best idea is to match an old antique table with modern designer stools. This gives the whole room life, and highlights the beauty of the chairs. One wonders whether iconic designers like Mathsson and Jacobsen back in the 1960s would’ve thought that their chairs would be hot dining room items in 2013.

What do you think about designer chairs in the dining room???

Have a great start to a new week! :)

Within interior design, I love the combination of old and new, a marriage of history and modernism, romanticism meeting minimalism. In addition, I have a burning passion for crispy silks, dark chocolate and long baths with a fragrance of lavender.

  2. I’m not a big fan of antique stuff but these furnitures added into a modern room looked so good. I like how all the rooms have bright lights coming in from the window and these furnitures just shines! =)
