Today’s decor crush is this fashionable apartment in Manhattan. The thing that first caught my attention is the lovely herring bone floor. It fits so incredibly well with the otherwise pale hues of beige, and light yellow couches.
This home belongs to a female chef by the name of Ali Cayne, the founder of the famous New York restaurant Havens Kitchen. Ali decorated the home herself, without any help from interior designers. Didn’t she do well!
This heavenly place has circulated widely on Pinterest and it’s not hard to understand why. Lovely!
The beautiful herringbone parquet runs like a wood theme throughout the fashionable apartment.
No tiles in sight, as Herringbone dominates in the beautiful bathroom.
Black paint in a room can be very dark and depressing, but not in this case where there is a perfect balance of light and dark. The dream catcher hardly needs to work when sleeping in the ultimate dream home :)
Classic Manhattan entrance. You can almost see Carrie in Sex & the city scurrying down the stairs with her Manolos.

Inredningsvis gives ten out of ten for this week’s lovely home and we can more than imagine reclining full-time in the tub with feet in front of an open window :)
What do you think about the decor crush of the day in Manhattan?
Have a fashionable day!
LOVE M

I love Manhattan condos. It’s my dream to spend a few months on the upper east side.
But for now, I’ll settle with making my own gallery wall above my bed.
You have the most beautiful rooms posted. It always make me want to re-do my house.

This is such a gorgeous home – it almost makes me want to pick up and move to NYC. I love how texture and pattern keep it from being too spare and minimal. The kitchen is my favorite!
Have a lovely week! XO

Wow!!! Maria, there is not a single thing not to love about this apartment! Starting from its location, to the wooden flooring, the metro tiles, the open shelving in the kitchen, the subtle colour palette…oh my, I want to move in there! Maybe we should all go shopping in Manhattan during winter instead of staying at home and sipping our coffees? Just sayin’:-) Happy Monday!
