This is pic is beyond lovely…two cats …one crystal chandelier = Perfection

I’ll start by telling you that I’ll be giving you Christmas present tips each week in the lead up to Christmas, available from some of the best online shops the internet has to offer. So stay tuned because the first Xmas gift ideas will be published later this week :)

Now back to business and the decor crush of the day………

The decor crush of the day is a Danish home that could just as easily be French. An old estate with roots in the 15th Century makes my decor heart beat faster. After my French holiday I’m more obsessed by everything French than ever before :)

The beautiful white rooms have an almost perfect balance of glamour and cosy country feeling. Many family heirlooms are collected in this Danish dream home, including beautiful old German silver candle stick holders from the 19th Century.

But for someone like me, who loves both cats and chandeliers, picture number 3 is my wet decor dream… AND the chandelier is even French from the early 19th Century oh lala! Yessss, I have a soft spot for classical beauty and I’m proud of it :)

Do you like today’s classic Dansih/French decor crush? Is it TRÉS BELLE?????

Have a great week, sweeties! :)

Within interior design, I love the combination of old and new, a marriage of history and modernism, romanticism meeting minimalism. In addition, I have a burning passion for crispy silks, dark chocolate and long baths with a fragrance of lavender.

  1. Hi Maria! This decor is just elegant and beautiful! I’m going to pin it for my home board! Happy monday dear, kisses and love! <3

  2. You know what?
I think I’ll start avoiding your blog on Mondays… it isn’t good for my Health.
I want to be home and when I stop by I want to be in the Homes you post about. And today you went a step forward and bought Chandeliers… I’m in love with Chandeliers. I already told husband that when HIS sci-fi lamps on the kitchen are ruined I’m replacing them for a chandelier… no one should live without a chandelier, don’t you think?
Love and wishes of amazing and cosy week sent your way.

  3. Som vanligt alldeles bedårande inspiration! och jag håller med, katter och kristallkronor är fina grejer. Jag skulle vilja ha en kristallkrona i badrummet :) Kram!

I am totally in luv with this beautiful home. I love all white sooo much. Now, if I had my rooms fixed this way, I would have to have a MAN CAVE for hubby….he loves his old leather recliner and it might not look very good with this beautiful white. :))
