When you live in a historic old wooden house as I do, you either get a dream wooden floors in wood or a hiddious plastic 70 ies-floor when you move in. I had the misfortune to get the later option, and I was very depressed by my ugly kitchen floor.
I decided to make a full flooring makeover and a more breathtaking floor transformation is difficult to find.
I may have a small kitchen but the floor did make it SO much bigger and cuter :)
This is my kitchen floor before and after!

Looks lovely Maria and yes, your cat definitely agrees :)
Happy New Year! Beautiful kitchen floor, and such a handsome kitty!
Hi Maria, so nice of you to drop by at my blog and leave your kind comments. That was a nice and neat make over for your kitchen floor. Love the checkered pattern of your floor. Your cat loves it and I love it too. Also just to let you know that I am your newest follower.
A great difference indeed!!
Lovely black and white floor and perfect in a historic house…your sweet friend seems to appreciate it very much! :-)
P.S.
I too have just moved house and I live in a historic building in a small city of Italy. I have similar radiators at home and sprayed them with dark gray paint … they look very better in my sitting room now!
The black and white floor is a huge change – it looks great – it really brightens up your area. And it matches your cat!!!
