The words natural beauty mean so much more to me than just superficiality and makeup. It’s about being true to yourself and thinking about what we eat and rub into our bodies. I offer you here a selection of my personal favorite organic beauty products…… enjoy :)
1. Coconut oil
THE BEST of nature’s best, and the best thing is that you can both eat it and rub yourself in with it. There have been studies about coconut oil which found strong rejuvenating ingredients for the skin. It is also anti-inflammatory, so use it lots in cooking :)
2. Argan Oil
I have fought against dry hair for years and tried EVERYTHING. But last fall, everything changed when I got products with Argan Oil. You simply MUST try this oil in your hair, NOTHING beats it, believe me. Other products with silicone etc. settle on the surface of the hair, while Argan Oil penetrates and heals it.
3. Sea salt
Yeees, I know… the tin doesn’t look great, BUT the contents rock :) Instead of masses of chemical body scrub creams full of toxins, this is nature’s own peel-gold. Mix sea salt with a favorite essential oil – eg. lavender – scrub your whole body, shower and enjooooy :)
4. Hair mascara
Problems with ugly regrowth?? Then the organic hair mascara from Karite is the best there is. Just apply mascara on the regrowth, wait a bit and brush out. Voila – your hair looks one hundred percent newly coloured without any chemicals. Warning …. HIGHLY addictive :)
5. Firming Cream
The best organic rejuvenating skin cream on the market. I’ve used it all winter and my skin has never been better – despite the cold and dry outside climate. RECOMMENDED.
In an increasingly poisoned time, it is SO important to become more aware and use organic products – both food and beauty products. Going back to nature only gives us benefits when we avoid synthetic additives, plastics and toxic preservatives.
According to the Chinese, the skin is our largest organ and you should be able to eat whatever you rub yourself in with. Would you like to eat a over-perfumed body lotion from NK? Hardly.
I use olive and coconut oil right now to rub myself in with and I always hear that I’ve got nice skin :) It is not only important for us to become more aware of what we use, but also for our children and their future. After all, they are paying for the mistakes our generation makes.
So my advice is …. become more aware, choose organic and rub yourself down with edible body oil (or let someone else do it :)
Do you have any organic favorites?
Have a fab day, cuties!
