Det absolut snyggaste jag vet är ett smakfullt inrett hotellrum. Den stilen går att få även på hemmaplan med några knep och rätt öga för stil :) Nyckeln till en lyxig känsla är TYGER och gärna mycket tyger i olika material. Låt dina tapeter få konkurrens av bomull och böljande siden uppåt väggarna (lättare att byta ut än att tapetsera om :)
En gardinskena i taket är ett måste och låt ALLTID gardiner gå från golv till tak – allt annat är Big NO NO :) Det som är bra med skenor är att det går att ha dem överallt. Sätt tyg istället för dörr till garderoben eller låt tyger agera sovrumsvägg om du bor i en liten lägenhet.
Det rum som är lättast att inreda ala hotellrum de lux är somrummet och nedan följer tips hur du får ett rum värt en drottning :)
A dream bedroom for a sleeping beauty :)
1. SÄNGGAVEL
För den rätta hotell looken invistera i en klädd sänggavel, gärna i sammet och djuphäftad för lyxig känsla. Annars går det bra med mörkt trä eller svart, inga skrikiga färger eller tråkiga trämaterial.
2. BÄDDNING
Som sagt använd MYCKET tyger och påslakan av hög kvalitet. Sängen är viktigast så spara inte på krutet, ge den massor av prydnadskuddar, lyxiga lakan och blanda olika tyger som bomull med siden och sammet osv.
3. GARDINER
Ha ALLTID gardiner från golv till tak och låt dem gå ända ut till väggen från fönstret. En personlig favorit är siden men även sammet och bomull av hög kvalitet går bra. Mörkläggande gardiner är alltid bra för sovrum, det eller en riktigt bra sovmask :)
4. BELYSNING
Det ultimata är förstås en maffig kristallkrona i taket, det krävs dock rätt takhöjd för att rummet inte ska se ihopklämt ut. Låt sängborden alltid ha två likadana sänglampor på varje sida, gärna med lyxig fot och enkel lampskärm. Svart skärm ger dramatisk look. Spotlights belyser detaljer, ger liv åt tyg och låter dina favo pics få rätt uppmärksamhet :)
5. GOLV
Trägolv i all ära men för hotell känsla krävs en heltäckande matta av hög kvalitet, gärna i ljus färg. Mycket mysigare att sätta kalla morgon fötter på också :)
Nu när du inrett ett rum värd den prinsessa du är, se till att din prins kommer med riktigt lyxig frukost på sängen och blommor (med doft av Chanel :) Om han vägrar är han ingen prins och sorry att säga det….hör hemma i grodträsket:)

Fabric vs. wallpaper
The most beautiful thing I know is a tastefully decorated hotel room. You can have this style at home with the right eye for style. :) The key to this luxurious feeling is FABRIC and preferably a lot of different types of material. Allow your wallpapers to feel the competition of cotton and silk, which is easier to change then re-wallpapering.
A curtain rail in the ceiling is always a must, and always have curtains run all the way from floor to ceiling – anything else is a big NO NO! :) The good thing with rails is that you can have them anywhere. Use fabric instead of a wardrobe door, or have fabric act as a bedroom wall if you live in a small apartment.
The room that is the easiest to decorate ala hotel room deluxe is the bedroom. Here are some tips for designing a room fit for a queen :)
1. BED HEAD BOARD
For the right hotel look, invest in a plush head board. Otherwise, dark wood or black is fine. Just no screaming colours or boring woods.
2. BED CLOTHES
Use a LOT of fabric and high-quality covers. The bed is the most important, so don’t scrimp here. Give it lots of decorative cushions, luxurious sheets, and mix different fabrics like cotton, silk and satin etc.
3. CURTAINS
Always have curtains running from floor to ceiling and have them go all the way out to the wall from the window. A personal favourite is silk but satin and high-quality cotton are also fine. Blackout curtains are always good for a bedroom – either that, or a sleeping mask :)
4. LIGHTING
The ultimate is of course a stylish chandelier in the ceiling, but the right ceiling height is required so that the room won’t look too cluttered. Let the bed head always have two matching lamps on either side, preferably with a luxurious foot and simple lamp shade. A black shade gives a dramatic look. Spot lights illuminate details, bring fabrics to life, and give your favourite pictures suitable attention.
5. FLOOR
Wooden floors are great, but hotel floors need high quality carpet, preferably in a light colour. It’s also much nicer to put cold morning feet upon :)
When you have decorated a room worthy of the princess you are, make sure that your prince greets you in the morning with a luxurious breakfast in bed and flowers (with scent of Chanel :) If he refuses he’s no prince, and sorry to say it, belongs in the swamp with the rest of the frogs :)
