If you travel from Gothenburg as we did there are now fast speed train that takes you to Copenhagen in only three hours. Three hours later we find ourselves where the real summer has been hiding after all this mediocre Swedish summer.

Already on the platform beats the heat against us and easily traumatized, we realize that it feels more like a trip abroad than a visit to the neighboring country. The entire trip oses French Mediterranean holiday with lot of French-inspired house, realx happy people and a wonderful climate.

Copenhagen travel tips – the food

The food is beyond delicious in Copenhagen and especially the lunch. I tasted the salmon with wonderful mixed salad and fish cakes with Dansk mayonnaise. All food are served with a cozy relaxation atmosphere and good mood.

Hotel Breakfast starts the Copenhagen way with a shot of  Gammel Dansk. Sex and food are our most basic needs and Copenhagen are just the best for both, is simply something for all tastes :)

The food is also inexpensive so take the opportunity to enjoy it with a good glass of wine without the anxiety of a brooke wallet. A good lunch place tips is at the Town Hall Square the Oscar Bar & Café.

Copenhagen by bike

Should I just give one Copenhagen travel tip it is to rent a bike. This city is probably Europe’s best bike city and bicycle paths are stunning wide and visible. You will have time to do a thousand things more than if you rock around the streets like a village idiot confused with the map as the only sight seeing :)

I had not rented bike so I had absolutely not be able to bid on this versatile post about Copenhagen. No time had both legs and mood strike together with the photo of your finger. Biking is SO wonderful on a warm summer evening with the wind brezzing in your hair :)

Travel advice – Rental bikes are often at each hotel and only costs 100 Danish crowns per day. There are also similar city rents bikes like those in GBG placed on large main places like the Town Hall Square. MINUS there are not many places to return the bikes to.

Shopping the Copenhagen Way

Many news items have been well written about the large range of designer shops in Copenhagen. Certainly there are center street Stroget shopping at. But I recommend cozier smaller streets that Kompagnistræde and Læderstræde. There, you will find my new favo furnishing store Kirk then Damn fine stuff they have. Upscale furnishings, and beautiful stuff all over at Kirk.

On the whole, all restaurants and cafes are incredibly trendy decorated. It is noticeable that all of the most famous designers from Denmark and they live than most.

Since we find Hm home on Læderstræde 26 and I was LYRIC then it is one of my favo places to shop online. WHY has not Gothenburg or Stockholm a Hm home store ? There is something for Sweden to copy and happy soon. Where bargains I towels and a scented candle perfect for the bathroom.

Christiania plague or Treat?

No trip without something Wild & Crazy happens THATS my tune. We there for decided to visit Christiania from there we heard so many strange tales from. We rode there in humid 30 degree heat and was hotter than the sun when we arrived. Once there, I was almost knocked down because I happened to take a mobile photo and we got rid of both hotels bikes. I managed, however, with my brutal feminine charms to save us out of the seat and our bikes proves huh casually thrown in the backyard.

Christiania simply has its own laws and rules, therefore I give a little warning when you tourist blue eyes visiting there. Very strange fishy folk circulates Vs old cozy tourist ladies and that gives the area a unique contrast. Apparently someone redeemed the entire Christiania now so it is free from other districts of Copenhagen. Theres a lot of bohemian markets and if you like knick knacks in lots, this is the Mecca to pray.

The question remains if I were wild wonder woman hero or just naive Swedish tourist :)

BUT please do not access this hash nest at night and DO NOT take photos….. it is just a tip from one who knows :)

Copenhagen tourism Sight seeing

The wonderful old houses in Copenhagen is more reminiscent of Paris than a city in Scandinavia. I recommend you to take a one-hour boat sight seeing with toad-like tourist boats. Then you will see the entire Copenhagen harbor side and the most famous woman in Europe (except me :) Have fruen. She is probably, however mightily tired of all the paparazzi who shoot henna every day … .stackarn :)

Please also visit the incomparably beautiful green park Ørstedsparken in central Copenhagen, this is a green oasis and breathing. Since it is a ton of historical buildings, statues and beautiful water views to photograph.

NOW I conclude, however, my Copenhagen one day tour for more than this could not be with in a day, but still pretty OK right :)

Copenhagen travel tips

My ultimate summer crush this year’s Copenhagen and it will be long before I find a destination that truly has everything I want, which the Danish capital. Then the Danes big thumb up for their sturdy friendly happy way to respond to us blown tourists.

The bottom line is that you can keep up with everything that is worth seeing in a day and still have time to relax in the meantime. Copenhagen is a cozy Mediterranean with light Scandinavian seasoning just a short train ride away.

What are your memories from Copenhagen ??

LOVE M
