Inget land har nog sådan förkärlek till att äta ute som Sverige har. Det beror på att vi svenskar uttnyttjar varje liten sommar-sekund, innan kyla och mörker dödar livsandarna :) Det underbaraste sättet att dinera ute är enligt mig vid havet. Vad slår väl en middag vid det stora blå, med lugnande vågkluck som musik och glittrande vatten från sol i sommar horisont.
Jag bjuder här på några härliga svenska havs miljöer att inspirera till sinnlig njutning på alla plan :) Jag har själv inte förmånen att ha en uteplats direkt intill havet. Men jag tar mer än gärna med mig picknick till stranden så ofta jag bara kan. Inget slår svalkande havsluft en överhettad sommardag. Och inget äro ljuvligare än att äta svenska jordgubbar i gyllene solnedgång :)

Swedish outdoors: By the sea
Swedes love eating outdoors. This is because we make the most of every little Summer-second, before the cold and darkness creep back in. I think the best way to eat out is by the sea. What can beat an evening meal by the big blue, with the calming sounds of the waves as music and water glittering in the Sun.
Here are some truly lovely Swedish beach spaces to inspire and bring enjoyment to the senses on all levels :) Unfortunately, I’m not lucky enough to have my own little outdoor space near the ocean. But I’ll gladly take a picnic to the beach as often as I can. Nothing beats the cool ocean breeze on an overheated Summer’s day. And nothing is better than eating Swedish strawberries in the golden sunset :)

I enjoy eating outdoors too during summer which is the only time here in Canada too to do that. My favourite will be near the water too, at our backyard patio and any restaurant patio which I am going this weekend to have lunch with my girlfriends. Have an inspiring weekend!
