Porcelain as the main course

Porcelain derives its name from the Italian porcellan. In many English-speaking countries, porcelain can be called China or Fine China. However, there is nothing Chinese about these hot designs!

I really love complex table settings, and they say it is an art to set the table. Mateus takes this a step further and turns table setting into an art form. What I like most about these settings is that Mateus focuses on colour and design, and don’t seem to care at all about old traditions. I will be travelling to Portugal soon and therefore these stunningly beautiful pictures with a magical shimmer from a Portuguese based porcelain company seemed appropriate. With the right porcelain, food is just a dessert.

Trolskt skimmer är verkligen rätt uttryck! Vi dukar ofta med vårt Mateusporslin – det förgyller alla bord :)
