White painted floor together with rustic wood…I LIKE
Rustika trä-inslag är en stark trend 2012 i köksinredningen. Långt bort känns kliniska ultramoderna kök som länge varit på tapeten. Detta tycker jag känns väldigt befriande då många kök känts väldigt stereotypa och faktiskt nästan liknat kliniska bårhus.
Trä-material i kök gör inredningen varm, inbjudande och framförallt gästvänlig och mysig. Att blanda det moderna raka mot levande trä-detaljer är en underbar kombination. Mitt ständiga mantra är BLANDA gammalt & nytt, det är då rummet blir levande. Just köket är ju oftast det rum vi vistas mest i, då är det viktigt med den rätta mysfaktorn för långa samtal sent in på kvällen vid köksbordet :)

Kitchen interior design with natural detail
Rustic wood detail in the kitchen are a strong trend in 2012. Far away are the clinical, ultra-modern kitchens that have been all the rage for a long time. I think this feels very liberating as many kitchens feel stereotyped and almost like the inside of a morgue!
Wood in a kitchen gives a warm, inviting and above all hospitable and cosy. Combining the modern straight detailswith living wood is wonderful. My constant mantra is to COMBINE old and new, as it makes a room come alive. The kitchen is often the room we spend most time in and therefore the right cosy feeling is important to have long conversations late at night at the kitchen table.
