Några ord som cirkulerat flitigt ett tag bland inrednings folk över hela världen är Nordic light. De ger precis som det låter en känsla av den moderna skandinaviska ljusa inredningsstilen. Vår ljusa inredningsstil är en total motpol till det eviga mörkret vi nordbor kämpar med varje vinter.
Jag får varje dag höra från utländska läsare hur mycket de beundrar svensk inredning och design. Därför tänkte jag ge er några enkla inredningstips, samt sovrums inspiration ala svensk modell från några som är bra på just detta…nämligen alvhemmakleri.se

A phrase that has often pops up in decor circles all around the world is Nordic light – a feeling of the modern, Scandinavian clean decor style. Our light style is the exact opposite of the eternal darkness we struggle with up here every Winter.
I hear a lot of praise for Swedish decor and design among overseas readers. That’s why I thought to give you some simple decor tips, as well as bedroom inspiration ala Swedish style from the experts, alvhemmakleri.se
Nyckeln till att få den svenska typen av inredning är att ta bort överflödiga prylar och lämna rum åt det enkla avskalade. Mörka gardiner, mattor och väggar går bort. Less is more är ett uttryck som passar bra för att beskriva svensk design.
The key to Swedish decor is to remove unnecessary objects in a room leaving behind a simple shell. Dark curtains, carpets and walls: gone. Less is more is an expression that describes Swedish design.
Rummen ska ha stora luftiga ytor fulla av ljusinsläpp från alla håll, det ger känsla av renhet och stil. Blanda gärna det avskalade med några få antika aktions fynd, för en personlig prägel. Har ni som på bilden en gammal kakelugn är det bara att gratulera…såå svenskt och bedövande vackert :)
Rooms should have large, open spaces with light from all directions. This gives a clean and stylish feeling. Mix with a couple of antique bargains for a personal touch. If you have an old tiled fireplace such as in the picture, congrats…very Swedish, and very beautiful :)
Ett tips är att köpa ljusa enfärgade sängkläder av finaste bomull och vita tunna enkla gardiner för den rätta rena känslan. Ett alternativ till vanliga gardiner är en hissgardin, som lämnar rummet ljust och luftigt. Lägg till sist till några typiskt nordiska detaljer. Det kan vara en päls pläd nonchalant slängd över sängkanten och en fårskinnsmatta på golvet.
Buy light coloured bedclothes made of the finest cotton, simple thin white curtains for a clean feeling. An alternative to normal curtains is a roman blind, which makes a room feel light and airy. Finally, include some typically Nordic details: A fur nonchalantly thrown over the edge of a bed, and a sheepskin rug on the floor.

Paint boring dark floors in high-gloss white for that true Scandinavia style… very hot right now :)
Voila….såå enkelt men ändå så snyggt och eftertraktat. Skandinavisk inredning kan liknas med när man lagar mat, ibland är bara det allra enklaste det allra godaste.
